Tell You was in it's sound very similar to songs like The Hand and maybe the later recorded That's Life from the Invite Your Friends Over For Tea album. A melodic guitar-theme thrown on top of the solid work of the two Mortens and Mikkel holding it all together with his chord-structures.

Michael's lyrics - once again - were protest-like, this time capitalism was attacked fiercely. Ironically, it was just around this time Michael was about to set up his first company, but he still - strangely - had strong socialist ideals that showed up in many of his lyrics from that period.

Michael: Like on Creditcard Daydreaming Blues, I gave Mikkel an impossible task, hehe! I remember he looked at the first line "Twenty thousand businessmen, pinstriped, win-type - walking on your head, that fucking hurts" in disbelief. But he managed very well, he's used to be a rapper in the New York Indians, you know! And a proud rapper too, hehe!

Mikkel: The chords are very much like the ones we use in The Hand, and a few of the pieces owe a lot to Stairway To Heaven. The middle "talking-piece" was my way of supporting Michael in his protests, but most of all it reminds me of a bad rip-off of the Guns'n'Roses Welcome To The Jungle... and I even think it was supposed to be. The chorus in this one is not bad and Michael's harmonies are solid.
